Why it's important
Of course I'm terribly biased, but I believe counselling should be as normal as seeing your massage therapist.

Sometimes it's a mental or emotional tune-up, or we'd like to work through a problem with someone who's not involved in our day-to-day living.

Sometimes we realize it's time to unpack elements of the past so we can leave it there - let's strip away it's power from our present.

Therapy is utterly malleable and a unique experience to you.

What happens in Session?

In a typical session we'll sit together and I'll hold space for you - we'll talk, we'll work through what's going on with you and what you need for today and tomorrow. We might collaborate on some task or "experiments" to try before the next session, testing out new ways of doing/thinking/being, but not always. Sometimes you'll just need to offload your week.

We are all so unique that so too will your therapy be unique to you and your specific needs.

As an integrative counsellor I'll pull from a large variety of tools and techniques to collaborate with you on strategies to build a more confident, stable, and empowered You.

I promise it's not scary when you're in it - I am here to create a safe, private, inclusive and non-judgemental space for you to release your burden and work through your tough today.
I'll be me, you'll be you, and we'll meet each other wherever you're at.
